Privacy by design

AfterHours Pay privacy policy

Effective August 30, 2026

AfterHours Pay is a private, offline Android application. It does not transmit app records to Sonicuity and contains no account, advertising, analytics, telemetry, tracker, cloud-sync service, or Sonicuity-operated backend.

Data handled by the app

AfterHours Pay stores the work profiles, operating hours, pay rules, on-call coverage periods, called-in work records, optional notes, pay-stub gross amounts, and preferences that you enter. This information is processed locally on your device to calculate and display pay estimates.

Sonicuity Technologies does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or use this information for advertising or model training. AfterHours Pay does not create an account.

Exports and backups

CSV exports and JSON backups occur only when you explicitly request them and choose a destination through Android's system document picker. The selected storage provider may process that file under its own terms. AfterHours Pay does not automatically upload or synchronize records. Exported files must be deleted separately from the selected destination.

External website

The Settings screen can open sonicuity.com in your chosen web browser. The website is not loaded inside the app, and the app sends no work or pay record with that action. The browser, network, and website providers may process ordinary connection information under their respective policies.

Permissions and device features

AfterHours Pay requests no Internet, advertising ID, location, contacts, camera, microphone, or broad-storage permission. Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for app data. The home-screen widget reads only the app's local summary state. Depending on its size, the widget can display the selected profile name and either on-call time or estimated pay to the launcher and anyone who can view the screen. The Hide dollar amounts setting suppresses pay amounts.

Sensitive information

AfterHours Pay is not designed to store patient information or confidential employer information. Optional note fields warn users not to enter that information.

Retention and deletion

Records remain on your device until you edit or delete them, replace them through an explicit backup restore, use Delete all local data in the app's Settings screen, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Delete all local data removes the local profile, facility schedule, pay rules, on-call periods, called-in records, pay-stub entries, and app preferences after confirmation.

The in-app delete-all action does not delete CSV exports or JSON backups stored outside the app; those files must be removed separately from their selected destination. Because AfterHours Pay has no account or Sonicuity-operated backend, Sonicuity has no remote app account or server-side record copy to delete.

Store and operating-system providers

Store and operating-system providers may separately process purchase, download, device, or diagnostic information under their own policies.

Children

AfterHours Pay is a work-pay utility intended for working adults and is not directed to children.

Changes and contact
