Sonicuity Icons privacy policy

What the app is

Sonicuity Icons is an icon pack. It provides original stylized app-icon artwork and a mapping file (appfilter.xml) that supported third-party launchers read in order to display themed icons. The app also includes a local icon-browser screen so you can preview the included artwork. A supported launcher is required to apply the icons.

Information we collect

None. The app does not collect any personal information or user-generated content. Specifically, the app does not collect or process:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, user IDs).
• Location data.
• Contacts, messages, photos, or files.
• Usage or diagnostic analytics.
• Advertising identifiers.
• Any other personal or sensitive data.

Permissions

The app requests no runtime (dangerous) permissions and no data-access permissions. It does not request the INTERNET permission and therefore cannot send or receive data over a network. The manifest contains a single AndroidX-auto-generated internal signature permission,.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION, added automatically for apps targeting API 34+. It is self-scoped, is not shown to users, and grants no access to any user data.

Network, analytics, and advertising

• No network access: the app makes no network requests and contains no networking code paths that transmit data off the device.
• No analytics: the app contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
• No advertising: the app displays no ads and contains no advertising SDKs.
• No tracking: the app does not track users across apps or websites.

Third-party software

The app is built with standard Android platform libraries and the following open-source components, which run on your device and do not transmit personal data on the app's behalf:

• AndroidX Core (Core-KTX)
• AndroidX AppCompat
• Google Material Components for Android
• AndroidX RecyclerView
• AndroidX ConstraintLayout

Role of your launcher

Themed icons are applied by the third-party launcher you choose (for example Nova, Lawnchair, Action, Apex, ADW, GO, or Atom), not by Sonicuity Icons. Your launcher is a separate app with its own privacy policy. This policy does not cover the data practices of any launcher or other third-party software. Please review your launcher's privacy policy separately.

Data storage and retention

Because no data is collected, there is no user data to store, retain, or delete. Any settings the app uses are stored locally on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app.

Children's privacy

The app does not collect any data from anyone, including children. It contains no ads and no data collection, and it is suitable for a general audience.

Changes to this policy

If the app's behavior changes in a way that affects privacy, this policy will be updated and the effective date above will be revised. Material changes will be reflected in the app's store listing.
