Who this policy covers

This policy explains how Sonicuity Technologies handles information in the Sonicuity Echo Android private beta and on sonicuity.com. Sonicuity Echo is educational and professional-reference software about healthcare imaging for adult sonographers, students, educators, and imaging professionals. It is not directed to children.

Educational-use boundary

Sonicuity Echo does not diagnose disease, interpret studies autonomously, direct patient treatment, or replace professional judgment, facility policy, manufacturer instructions, current professional guidelines, or physician oversight.

Information used by Sonicuity Echo

If you choose to use a feature, the app may process and keep information on your device, including preferences and favorites; CME cycle dates, goals, and manual activity records; authorized, de-identified protocol material and OCR drafts; and documents or quality-review metadata you place in Lead Sonographer tools.

The current beta does not send that content to Sonicuity or another Sonicuity-operated server. Sonicuity does not receive it, sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train models. The app has no account service and does not accept or retain portal credentials.

Local storage and security

App content is stored in the app's private Android storage. Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for the app. Stored beta content is not yet protected by an additional app-managed encryption layer, so device security, screen lock, and physical control of the device remain important.

Do not enter patient information, facility identifiers, employer documents, credentials, or material you are not authorized to use. Private-beta testing should use synthetic or properly de-identified material only.

External links and user-directed sharing

Source links and official portal links open in your system browser. The destination service's privacy terms then apply; Sonicuity Echo does not read information from those sites. If you intentionally use an Android share action, the content goes to the app or person you select and is then governed by that recipient.

Retention and deletion

Local content remains on your device until you delete it through an available in-app control or uninstall Sonicuity Echo. Because the current beta has no Sonicuity account or server-side app storage, there is no remote app account or server copy for Sonicuity to delete.

The Sonicuity website

Sonicuity.com has no user account, advertising, or Sonicuity-operated analytics. Email links open your chosen mail application. As with ordinary web hosting, the hosting and network providers may process basic request information such as IP address, browser details, and security logs to deliver and protect the site.

Custom app inquiries

When you submit the Custom App form, you provide your name, whether the app is for personal or business use, your app needs, your preferred contact method, your email address or phone number, and your description. These details are sent through FormSubmit to info@sonicuity.com so Sonicuity can review and respond to your inquiry.

FormSubmit processes submissions for delivery and spam prevention and states that it retains submissions for 30 days. See its privacy terms. Sonicuity receives a copy in its business email inbox. To request deletion of your inquiry, contact info@sonicuity.com. Please do not include passwords, payment information, or patient information.

Changes and contact

This policy will be updated before features such as accounts, billing, cloud services, analytics, or other off-device processing are introduced. Questions may be sent to info@sonicuity.com.
